The Blues attacker was replaced by Kevin Mirallas in the 72nd minute after Gert Kams stood on the 25-year-old’s right ankle which made him unable to continue.
However, Martinez has now cleared the air on the severity of the injury, he said: ‘He received a blow to the ankle, but he is not hurt,’
Hazard has started the current Premier League with a bang after having a dry spell last season, when the Blues finished outside the top four following a title win under Jose Mourinho.
Chelsea fans fears were allayed following the injury scare, and will hope he continues to impress at the Stamford Bridge.
